ABOUT ME

I have been a musician for the majority of my life and began my therapy career after graduating from Nazareth College with my Master’s in Music Therapy. Throughout my career as a Music Therapist I worked with a wide variety of clientele ranging from older adults to children in schools to adults with special needs.

The majority of my work was accomplished in a Forensics Psychiatric hospital with adults who were considered to be “dangerously mentally ill.” During this period, I honed my verbal therapy skills through further education. I obtained my NYS license to practice psychotherapy (LCAT) while working this job.

I opened Fellow Travelers Therapy in April of 2023 with the goal of expanding my services to the community.

The following experiences have also contributed to my training:

* Frequent supervision from experts in the psychodynamic/psychoanalytic approach.

*Participating routinely in group supervision with other professionals who work in the psychoanalytic lens.

*Attended the Mid-Atlantic Play Therapy conference in May 2023.

*Began teaching student therapists at Roberts Wesleyan University in January 2024.

*Currently seeking further training in psychoanalytic therapy via a psychoanalytic institute.

*Working within treatment teams at my job at the hospital, consisting of professionals such as social workers, psychiatrists, medical providers, psychologists, peer mentors, and more.

*Consistently attending my own therapy in order to maintain an understanding of my own emotional life in order to better be with yours.

I’d love to help you and/or your family along in your healing journey. Please feel free to reach out with any further questions.
